Panel of blue glazed cotton to which are sewn sample pieces of knitting, fifteen on the front, and four on the back. All but one are worked in cotton, the odd one being in thick wool.

The panels, and the decorative hands within them, are numbered and the numbers refer to pattern in Mrs Gaugain's book of knitting, netting and crochet work.
