Short cape of muslin appliqué on machine-made net. Shaped with a shallow curve at the upper edge leading to round pendant ends, and a deep curve at the lower edge. The pattern consists of a deep lower border of ovals containing a flower sprig alternating with twining sprays of flowers on a background of dense small round dots. The edge is scalloped. Above the border, the net has sprays of flowers more sparsely applied, and there is a narrow upper board of a flower trail.
