Handkerchief of block printed silk twill with a full paisley pattern of a black ground. The colours include black, two reds, green and pale blue with royal blue hatching over most devices. The four main border stripes have derivative meanders, rosettes, sprays, etc. and surround the maid field with a turn over of paired cone or pine motifs decorated with and separated by bands of florets. The central, crowned, cream cartouche has a printed inscription of the commemorative details.
