Handwoven carpet of mohair and horsehair. Woven in the corduroy technique. Warp of 4-ply mohair, 48 end per inch and dyed in various ICI dyes. Weft of 2-ply horsehair used twofold. The surface was brushed during weaving with a carder. The carpet is finished at both ends with two rows of twining made of carpet wool.
