Object history
Gift of A.J.B. Wace. Collection no. 3055.

The register says that 'this piece compares to the bodice of the complete costume from Attica, T.720-1919. I.S. 155-1965 also compares.'

Early register suggests that this garment would have been worn at festivals with T.720-1919.

Earliest register descibes it as the bodice of a bride's dress that is of Greaco-Albanian origin.
