Woollen carpet. With an abstract design of a diaper of hollow black squares, irregular in outline, enclosing a fawn ground with small areas of black and dusty pink. The border is made up of irregular parallel bands of black, dark and light pink. The extreme edge of the carpet is black. The design is reminiscent of work by the Omega workshop.

At each end 1.5 inch of warp and weft without pile is folded and roughly sewn underneath. There are approximately 6 to 7 knots to the inch in the pile. There are differing depths of pile.
