Woven carpet sample of worsted yarn of 64 skein tied knots to the square inch. With vegetable dyes. The sample mainly shows the border and has a rich swag of flowers bound with a ribband and streamers on a cream-white ground. The ribband is pink and red and the swag contains a variety of colours. The edge of the field is shown and the pattern is made up of double interlocking octagons each containing a central rosette in buffs on a brown ground.
