Fan with a vellum leaf painted in watercolours with a scene showing the altar of love with a man and woman in classical dress and four cupids. There are two smaller vignettes with a beehive and garden. The sticks and guards are made of carved ivory, with silver leaf. The rivet is probably glass paste.
