Fan with a paper leaf painted in watercolours with a central cartouche showing an interior scene with a man, woman and young girl in fashionable dress. The cartouche is surrounded by a pastoral scene with two romantic couples. The sticks and guards are ivory, the sticks carved, pierced and gilt, the guards carved and gilt. The rivet is probably green glass paste.
