Folding fan, the mount of bobbin lace worked "à réseau." The lace has a scrolling pattern of slender leafy stems on a ground of plaited diamond mesh. The guards and sticks are carved and tinted ivory. The guards are carved with a pattern of seated male figures, birds, butterflies, and flowers amid scrollwork. The sticks are plain but of wavy outline.
