Folding fan, the mount painted in body colour and gold on paper. The painting depicts a man playing a flageolet to a lady, and a lady offering a basket of roses to two other persons in a wooded landscape. In the background are buildings and distant hills. The guards and sticks are pierced, carved, and inlaid ivory, with a carved pattern of male and female figures within compartments and lattice-works. The back of the mount is slightly painted with flowers.
