Made in Egypt These finely sewn linen shorts were made in Egypt. Their cut and fabric are appropriate for the hot Egyptian climate. Loose shorts in lightweight materials allowed more freedom of movement than traditional fitted woollen underwear. They were popular with young men in the 1920s and '30s.
