Evening coat of black felt trimmed with plaited black and gold braid and lined with black taffeta, with rows of gilt ribbon stitched inside the hem.

The coat is full length, princess line and flared with long leg of mutton sleeves and a pointed turn down collar. The braid trims the collar and is stitched down the centre front. The buttons are self covered.
