Label for the exhibition: "The Glamour of Italian Fashion 1945-2014" WOMAN’S COAT AND DRESS André Laug, 1960s Wool gabardine Fashionable coat and dress ensembles were popular throughout the 1960s. This design by French-born, Rome-based couturier André Laug is made from a wool gabardine produced by the Italian textile firm Nattier. Their heavy wool took particularly well to the precision required for tailored looks. GIVEN BY BRENDA AZARIO V&A: T.327 TO B-1978(05/04/2014-27/07/2014)
