WOMAN’S COAT AND DRESS
André Laug, 1960s
Wool gabardine
Fashionable coat and dress ensembles were popular throughout the 1960s. This design by French-born, Rome-based couturier André Laug
is made from a wool gabardine produced by the Italian textile firm Nattier. Their heavy wool took particularly well to the precision required for tailored looks.
