Portion of a tapestry woven in coloured wools (mostly shades of green and brown) showing a tropical forest with many palm trees and a hunting scene. Men armed with spears and shields can be seen; five of them are on horseback. A dromedary, an elephant, stags and other animals appear between the trees. In the foreground is a group, consisting of a bull charging a man, another man thrusting at the animal with his spear, and a third with bow and arrow. On the right is water, a bridge, a church, and distant buildings among trees and hills. A border extends along the upper end and down the right side; it is filled with two cartouches of scrolling outline, containing a recumbent woman holding a pair of scales, and a draped head, two masks, a shield-bearing warrior, flowers, fruit, architectural and an inscription.
