Wool and linen embroidery on linen, with satin and cross stitches and drawn-work. The cap is hood-shaped and of several pieces of material, with an insertion of coarse bobbin lace on the crown. At the back is a large quatrefoil medallion in drawn-work, in orange, green, blue, black, and white wool and some blue silk. Across the front is an oblong panel of similar work with a row of repeating rosettes within lozenges.
