Veil of embroidered linen with red and black silks in cross stitch. The main part of the veil is divided by lines of Qarnabeet (cauliflower) and geometric patterns into four rows of rectangular compartments. The compartments in the two outer rows contain Makhaleh (kohl holder) designs, and those in the two inner rows have birds and plants. The two long sides are bordered with 'Ollaiq (leech) motifs. There is a broad border of vertical lines of Qarnabeet (cauliflower) motifs separated by bands of Nakhel 'Aali (tall palm) motifs arranged in blocks at each end. Fringe of coloured cords mainly red, and with black, green, blue and yellow, at each end.
