Woman’s stomacher of fine bleached linen, lined with coarse linen. It is embroidered with coloured silk twist in stem, blanket, chain and satin stitches in a pattern of scrolling stems with small flowers and leaves. It is triangular in shape with a shaped point and a false robing on each side with 4 short narrow skirts at the bottom. The edges are bound with yellow silk grosgrain ribbon and the inner edges of each robing reinforced with baleen.

Woman’s stomacher of fine bleached linen, lined with coarse linen.
