Waistcoat of white marcella piqué. It is completely backless, held only by two buckled black cotton straps. The fronts have a long straight lapel and the garment fastens with three chrome and mother of pearl stud buttons with a pearl centre. There is a pocket at each side. The garment is lined with white rayon twill and has a tab to fasten it to the top of the trousers. The label is blue on white, stitched to the back strap.
