Raincoat made of buff gabardine cotton. Double-breasted trench coat style with five pairs of horn buttons. With a caped yoke at the back and the right front. Buttoned tabs at each shoulder and leather buckled straps at the cuffs. The collar can be turned up and is fastened by a stay-strap and single button, and the neck or throat latch can be fastened by two hooks and eyes. The back vent has a let-in pleat and a stay-strap and button. The pockets have buttoned flaps and a side slip opening with access to the open-topped pockets let into the lining of the coat. The lining is of buff, black, white and red cotton twilled check. The Burberry label is stitched to the inside back and two other labels for quality and care of the garment are stitched to the inside left pocket.

The belt is furnished with four metal 'D' rings and fastens with a leather buckle painted white.
