Object history | Registered File number 1985/562. Worn with 'para-military' T-shirt T.356-1985. The colour of the material and the style of the jacket in particular show the influence of 'para-military' dress on fashions at the time. In this instance the influence could be either that of parachute or flying kit. This is revealed by the cut of the jacket and the use of the zips as fastenings for the pocket, cuffs and the front. The owner recalls that he bought the outfit at 'Browns' in South Molton Street, London , W1 in ca. 1970. |
