Square shawl woven in twill in white cotton. Pattern all over the field with a small green leaf sprig with stepped outlines, in rows of alternating twill directions. A narrow border marked off by lines of red and green which form small squares at the corners, is filled with one repeat motif, a stylised four-petalled flower head with stepped outlines. Warp and weft are loosely twisted to form a short fringe.

Square shawl woven in twill in white cotton. Pattern all over the field with a small green leaf sprig with stepped outlines, in rows of alternating twill directions.
