Picture woven in silk and mounted on card. With two victorious generals, Wellington and Blücher, meeting after the Battle of Waterloo. The design is taken from a painting by Daniel Maclise. The generals are shaking hands amidst a scene of carnage outside the inn called 'Le Belle Alliance'. Woven mainly in blue, red and brown silk. On a grey mount inscribed 'Wellington & Blücher' and 'Meeting after the battle of Waterloo'. No trade label on the back of the mount.
