Place of origin

Long woven shawl with a black ground. The warp, dyed black for the plain black centre and inner gallery of pattern, is pinky-red for the side and end guard-stripe and main border and harlequin for the ends which are woven with weft in dark red, yellow, pale blue, light red, green, orange and dark red in areas 8-9 inches x 0.75 inch.
