Woven shawl. Plain white silk centre with applied borders in 'turnover' style. Harlequin border, squares alternating with slim rectangles. Squares contain leaf shapes, alternately red ground on blue and blue ground on red, filled with a spray of florets. Rectangles contain a small cone springing from a stand on grounds alternately green and yellow. Tiny outer guard stripe only, on blue ground. All cotton wefts, bound 3/1 by white silk warp. Remains of silk outer top to fringe. Colours: Dark blue. Mid blue, mid green, bright red, bright yellow, white.
