Overcoat for a man of sand-coloured worsted. Full length, cut full and slightly flaring towards the hem. Caped to the elbows. With a broad velvet collar and fastens with a gilt metal chain and clasp shaped like a bunch of flowers. Fastens from the neck to the hem with self-coloured buttons which become more widely spaced toward the bottom. The cape is also buttoned. The sleeves are slightly shaped with broad plain cuffs. On the left breast is a diagonal buttoned slit pocket. Hand-stitched and unlined.
