A woman's gown of silk with textured stripes of cream and shades of pink. The gown is in the English (tight-back) style, open down the front with elbow-length sleeves and double, scalloped and pinked sleeve ruffles. The robings are decorated with pinked ruching. The bodice and sleeves are lined with unbleached linen. Six pairs of narrown linen tapes sewn the fronts fasten the bodice. The gown has stitched pleats at the back and the skirts are pleated and sewn to the bodice at the waist. The gown is made of five widths of silk.
