Toy Tank Prototype
1970s (made)

1. prototype model made of moulded heavy and dense white plastic. The body is backless and most of the right side cut away as is most of the top section. Some of the surface has been covered with brown sandpaper and joins infilled with grey filler. The whole is made in sections, some of which are joined together, others not.
2. top panel, showing the back hatch, the right side oval hatch and the right round hatch
3. tank turret panel, irregular shape with a circle within a circle pattern on the top and a large perspex knob glued to the centre
4. right side panel allowing for the changed design of the exhaust pipe

Object history
This is an adaptation in heavy white plastic of the Spartan Personnel
Carrier. Parts have been cut, added to and changed to create an early version of the Scorpion Tank.
