Altar cloth of linen, embroidered with silver-gilt thread, and blue, green, brown and buff-coloured silks. In the middle is a square compartment containing the Agnus Dei ( Lamb of God), outlined by a band of flowering plants separating the letters of the word 'HANGNUS DEI' in Gothic characters. In each corner is one of the following letters 'I E S U', and round the edge is a broad, geometrical border of leafy stems and rosettes within lozenges.
