Pull Along Toy Dog

The body is made of medium density fibreboard; MDF; painted white with black spots in child proof paints and jointed with rubber at the shoulder; hip and tail lines. The whole is mounted on two plain wooden bars and four wooden wheels; screwed to the bars. Knotted beneath the head is a length of leather forming a pull rope. The ears of the dog are black rubber; glued on. It is hand finished. When pulled along; the whole gently sways back and forth.

Object history
References: Founded January 1993 by Pierrette and Michael John Lensvelt with Maggie Jones who acts as a PR. The company won the Good Toy Award; 1993 and the dog was displayed at the BGM exhibition of Toys that Move; 1993

The company is joining the British Toymakers Guild and is in the process of developing a larger range from these two.
