Object history | Registered File number 1983/232. Thomas Palmer married Elizabeth Schee in 1822 (see T.46 to 49-1986). The napkin is part of a collection from the Palmer family whose family tree is given on T.46-1986. Family Tree: Thomas Palmer (1702-1766) married Elizabeth; George Palmer married Sarah Oriel; Their Four children: Thomas, Philip, Felix, George (d.1814). Thomas married Elizabeth Schee (1822) and he was said by his descendants to have lived at 1 St. Martin's Lane and to have been a glass-maker. He has a country house at Hendon where he was buried at St. Mary's Church. His crest was a greyhound after which a local pub was named. (From the T.46-1986 register) |
