Napkin of linen damask. Frieze from the Albert Memorial. The centre of the napkin is plain but woven with a jagged edge like a blaze of light shed on the illustrious persons on the border - poets, philosophers, artists (Michelangelo identified by a sculpture from the Medici Chapel, Homer playing on a lyre, etc.). The plain edge is hemmed by machine. Satin of 5. In one corner is embroidered with the initials 'N.W.' in white.
