White lace panel made from two joined borders. It has a large scale gauze weave ground entirely over embroidered with decorative white work filling stitches. A large scale pattern of scrolling leafy stems and flowers is defined by bundles of couched threads, overlaid by a thin cord and supplemented in places by a darned line of yellow wool. A variety of geometric patterns are used in the centres of the leaves and flowers. The ground is uniformly over sewn to make a regular mesh.

Physical description
