Place of origin

The patterns and forms found in rock strata inspired this dish. Brian Blanthorn (b.1957) and Jenny Blanthorn take their ideas from such natural phenomena and tropical fish. They make their pieces from sheet glass, which is treated with oxides, cut into strips and fused in the kiln. They have specialised in this technique for more than 20 years, refining it and perfecting it to suit their own particular style.
