Corset cover of white muslin trimmed with Valenciennes bobbin lace. Low-necked, sleeveless and with a fastening down the back with nine linen buttons and buttonholes. Trimmed at the front and back with inset borders of Valenciennes lace in a floral pattern. The sleeves, neck and hem are finished with a narrow border of lace. At the front of the neck is threaded a pale blue ribbon tied in a bow. Set into the muslin panels at the front of the cover are twelve flower-sprigs in bobbin lace and below them is embroidered a monogram in white thread in satin stitch under a bow of ribbon.
