Blue cotton thread embroidery, partly in chain and cross stitches, on linen. Horizontal pattern depicting rows of monstrances between tall candlesticks, altar crosses, and cherubim, skulls and crossbones, birds, and the letters I.H.S. At each end are six narrow woven stripes in blue and all round is a knotted fringe of white cotton. The embroidery is of a "primitive peasant character".
