Tapestry woven band of linen and wool. Tapestry warp of linen Z spun. Wefts of linen, slightly S spun. Wool red S spun; blue S spun; green S spun; yellow S spun. The band was originally lined with tabby weave linen, attached by oversewing stitches down both edges and by a row of running stitches down the middle. Parts of this linen remains in a very brittle and fragmentary state. Warp of linen slight S spun; weft of linen no noticeable spin. Running hares and birds with details in geometric, foliate and floral shapes.
