A fragment of a band from a tapestry-woven brown woollen tunic. 10x40 tpc; s-spun. Egyptian, ca. AD300-600. The band is decorated in light and dark brown. The design has two rows created by diamonds shapes (made of two jagged lines and a circular icon). Within the diamonds are stylised nude, standing figures with their legs crossed and one hand raised. Vaseswith leaves fill the outer spaces. This is bordered on either side with a line of connected vase shapes. There are some holes in the piece.
