Man’s sleeved waistcoat made of buff-coloured woollen broadcloth. It has a round neckline, curving fronts, curved pieced sleeves and skirts reaching between the top of the knee and middle of the thigh. Each front has a pocket and pointed pocket flap. The waistcoat is lined with beige worsted twill, the sleeves and pockets with fustian, the cuffs and pocket flaps ivory worsted twill. It is embroidered with silver thread, purl and spangles in a pattern of flowers and diamond shapes around the front neck and pockets, on the pocket flaps and along the front edges and hems. There are 13 buttonholes edged with silver thread embroidery along the left front; none of the buttons along the right front remain. Each cuff fastens with a linen-thread covered button (1 on left sleeve missing) and worked buttonhole.
