Napkin of linen damask. Finely woven. Inscribed with 'Emporiumque Toto Orbe Celeberrimum'. The central pattern repeats the view of London surrounding London bridge, and continues on further past it. It shows Southwark as well as the Thames, peopled with ships. There is a wide border around three sides of the napkin (the left side is borderless) containing flowers and leaves, crowns, fleurs de lys and birds. Satin of 5.
