Napkin of linen damask. Finely woven. Inscribed 'Londinium Britanniae Metropolis et Emporium' and shows the city of London from Old St. Paul's past London Bridge as viewed from the south bank of the Thames. Southwark is also represented. The picture is surrounded by a wide border of alternating sprays of flowers and leaves, crowns and fleurs de lys, and with a large bloom at the corner.
