Embroidered picture depicting the Finding of Moses made of buff-coloured satin embroidered with coloured silks and chenille in long, short, and satin stitches with laid, couched work, and French knots. The figures and part of the scene are drawn and painted in ink and water-colours and have not been embroidered. In the centre is the Egyptian princess with two female attendants, one of whom is uncovering the cradle in which the child Moses lies. To the left is a tree and two pyramids, and to the right are bulrushes and a palace amongst trees.
