Double lappet of blonde silk bobbin lace. The design consists of a series of linked oval compartments outlined by a solid white line between rows of holes. Each compartment contains a formal four-petalled flower within an arrangement of white ellipses. In the spandrels between the oval are scallop-shapes containing two ellipses and three circular spots.
