Parasol with a silk cover. Pagoda shape with a brass ferrule and carved bone shepherd's crook handle. Rib tips of bone, as is the ferrule end which is carved in acorn shape. The ribs are whale bone. The cover is 20th century. Lined with grey cotton.

Physical description

The cover of this parasol is 20th century and it was agreed with the donor that it should be stripped and the parasol used as an example of a "pagoda" type frame.
