Image robe made of green and white changeable [shot] silk, brocaded in pink, white, yellow and shades of green in a design of repeating floral motifs and lace pattern trail. The robe was probably remade from a gown or furnishing; it is pieced and lined with coarse red linen. There are 4 shallow box pleats at the back neck and large shoulder wings made of lengths of silk over pasteboard shaped into wide curves, 9 on each side. A linen tape is sewn into each side seam at the waist inside.
