Napkin of linen damask. In the centre is a heraldic device of George Seton and mottoes. At the top is written 'INSIGNIA GEORGII IX DE SETON COMITIS DE WINTOUN DOMINI DE SETON 1712'. Beneath this is the main Seton coat of arms which has the quarterly 1st and 4th or 3 crescent with a double tressure flory counterflory gules (for Seton), 2nd and 3rd azure, 2nd and 3rd azure 3 garbs or as a coat of pretension to the Earldom of Buchan. Over all, by way of surtout an escutcheon per pale, on the dexter gules a sword paleways proper hilted and pommelled or, supporting an imperial crown within a double tressure of the crest, as one of augmentation; sinister, azure, a star of 12 points argent (for Winton) Crest on a ducal crown a dragon vert spouting fire proper with wings elevated. Supporters 2 foxes proper collared or, the collars charged with three crescent gules to their collar chains fixed, passing between their forelegs and reflexing over their backs; on a scroll, coming from behind the shield and passing over the middle of the supporters are the words 'INTAMINATIS FULGET HONORIBUS'. The supporters hold two banners, one with the arms of Seton and the other with a lion rampant in a triangle intersected by a circle with the motto 'INDISSOLUBILLE'. Mottoes above is 'HAZARD ZET FORWARD' and below is 'INVIA VIRTUTI VIA NULLA'. In the four corners is an indistinguishable device topped by an earl's coronet and surrounded by 'IN PROSPERITIE BENEVOLENCE IN ADVERSITIE PATIENCE'. Around the whole is a narrow border in which crescents alternate with fleur-de-lys. At the bottom of the cloth is inscribed 'JOHN OCHILTRIE WEAVER IN EDINBURGH 1712'. There is an outer edging of chequer pattern. Also embroidered with initials 'E.S.' and 'O.S.'.
