Napkin of linen damask. There are four scenes with inscriptions in Gothic script: 'Ich wil euch verss o(r)gen'; 'Nach 12 wirds morgen'; 'Ich habe die gewalt'; 'In mir ist viel Zwiespalt'. The scenes include a man ploughing, a clock with Mercury pointing to 12, with the seated figures of Hope, a crowned figure supporting a column and standing beside a table upon which are a crown and sceptre, and a town.

The design is the same as 837-1907 but has 2.5 repeats in the width and 1.25 in the length. In 1907, the design was thought to represent a fable, but it could perhaps be a rebus.
