This work was made, speculatively, by Harry Seager while in New York in the early 1970s. It remained there until its return to this country in 1993. Seager's ground-breaking work in flat glass and his teaching at Stourbridge School of Art have been influential on a generation of glassmakers.

Sculpture called 'Wave' made of plate glass, perspex and aluminium pinned together with cut perspex by metal fittings and mounted on aluminium. The cut plate glass is piled in a pyramid form with a rounded section at one side depicting a wave form.
