Woman's cap of fine bleached linen. The back is gathered into a 3-inch (7.5 cm) wide brim, trimmed with gathered 1½-inch (6.3 cm) edging of the same linen. The cap ties under the chin with a short ties of linen tape (the left one a replacement).
