Woman's cap of muslin embroidered with coloured silks and metal thread using cross and gobelin stitches in blue, brown, pink and green. The embroidery forms a band along the front edge and up the centre of the head, with a formalised spray of flowers in each of the angles so formed. The front edge is trimmed with needlemade lace. The back is finished with buttonholing and a row of crochet in blue silk, threaded with a plaited drawstring.
